2017 Star Workshop – Animated Shorts
About: Have you ever wanted to write your own animated short cartoon and air it on television? Well now you can with the Set on a Hill Workrshop for Animated Shorts. We will be inviting a select few of students to take our workshop and to air their animated short alongside Princess Eli’s television special on April 2, 2017 on Mundo FOX that will debut her new multilingual song-book called “Princess Eli and the Feathered Prince” and her new hit song entitled “Spread Your Wings and Fly.” This is your opportunity to not only learn but to put action to your goals within television and animation.
Who We are Looking for:
- Workshop Participants: Singers, Songwriters and Actors (Pre-TEEN & TEEN 10-18)
- Extras and Featured Voice-over Performers
Theme: From Reel to Real TV Show Workshop
- Singers: Get the opportunity to perform your very own segment on an animated short.
- Songwriters: Get the opportunity to write, edit and produce a song for your very own animated short. You will also do the voiceover for your short.
- Actors: Get the opportunity to be the voice behind your animated short as a voice-over performer. Learn how to write for animated shorts and how to bring your character to life.
- Extras & Featured Performers: Support our Television special and even our animated shorts by being one of the voices.

Time: Mondays from 7pm-9pm | [Class 1: 7pm-8pm – Class 2: 8pm-9pm]

Ms. Shammah is a singer, songwriter, producer, and actress in the kids and family music and television industry. She was the music supervisor and producer for two kids television shows that aired on Mundo FOX called Estadio Magazine and Little Brothers Big Sisters. She is an ASCAP member songwriter. She holds a BA from Rice University and a MBA in International Business from The University of Houston Victoria. She has also produced commercials and managed marketing for dozens of companies. She is your talented coach.
