Ekaette Elizabeth Shammah is a captivating natural storyteller, specializing in creating a strong narrator’s voice in screenplays. Ekaette’s unique writing style comes from growing up around so many cultures from her Nigerian parents, to living on the border of Mexico and growing up speaking Spanish, to picking up Portuguese in college. Each culture that she grew up around had beautiful folktales, a love for education and a moral in every story.
She has written and produced 3 Television series, 3 Animated Films, and 5 Live Action Films that have all gone to production.
She has created a powerful library of 101 Loglines.
She is the author of 6 children’s books which were incorporated in her televisions shows.
She sings in 30 languages and is a songwriter of 6 albums, Eps, and singles. Her music has been placed on films and TV shows . She has also written and composed the soundtrack for several films.
Ekaette is a film festival award winner for her hit series Princess Ellie and the Feathered Prince.
Ekaette is a speaker and professional course creator for the film and TV industry. She has spoken at and shared her films at Universities, K-12 schools, and at educational programs.
She founded a non-profit called Estadio Magazine Inc. Through the Estadio Magazine and Princess Ellie Songbook Literacy Club she serves over 1000 schools and 60,000 parents and kids with book donations, scholarships, and educational resources.
Ekaette debuted her writing on Mundo FOX within two kids television shows called Estadio Magazine and Little Brothers Big Sisters.
Within education she holds a BA from Rice University and a MBA in International Business from the University of Houston, Victoria.
